"WHAT IS HAPPINESS?" 🍀
OPTION A:
"Only the chosen few who have the right contacts are lucky. If I try hard, if I listen to the chosen ones and serve them, I will also have the right contacts. If I have the right connections, I will get everything I want, and when I get it, then I will be happy."
OPTION B:
Since it is man who is reflected in the world, and it is the world that is reflected in man, it can be said that "man is the world and the world is man". Therefore, HAPPINESS IS AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE who KNOWS that happiness lies not in something outside of man, but in MAN'S RELATIONSHIP TO THE OUTER WORLD, which is ultimately "just" a public demonstration of man's relationship to HIMSELF.
If man is AWARE of this, he wishes in the sense of wishing happiness to all beings UNLIMITED all that can be wished for, even that which he may even believe he is currently lacking. It is this ability to wish for happiness that is the willingness to wish for happiness, which is paradoxically INDEPENDENT on external conditions, and it is this INDEPENDENCE that makes a person INDEPENDENTLY HAPPY, or one who is AWARE of such a POSSIBILITY OF HAPPINESS.
The person who is CONSCIOUS of this UNSTOPPABLE POSSIBILITY OF HAPPINESS in this way is actually WORKING TO DEVELOP INDEPENDENCE TO SELF, because such a person who is CONSCIOUS of developing these abilities, is naturally HIS OWN HAPPY LOCATION (which is his own happy refuge) CONSTANTLY AVAILABLE to him, and such a person is therefore intrinsically, regardless of external circumstances (including whether or not anyone wishes him happiness) CONSTANTLY happy.
