Response to the article "Beware of sects"

Aktualizováno: 12. 7. 2022

"Don't believe anything just because you heard it.

Don't believe traditions just because they have been passed down for generations.

Don't believe anything just because other people talk about it.

Don't believe anything just because it says so in your religious books.

Don't believe anything just on the authority of teachers and elders.

But if, after investigation and analysis, you find that everything makes sense and is for your own good and the good of others - then accept it and live accordingly." Buddha Šakjamuni zvaný GAUTAMA

Based on requests from many friendly beings, the Heart of Dharma Sangha has decided, in the interest of preserving its good name and thus in the interest of all other beings who follow the teachings of the Buddha, to comment with love and respect on the article ATTENTION TO SECTS, which was published on https://www.buddhaweb.cz/pozor-na-sekty/ by Mr. In case the authors try to edit or delete the text, we have backed up the article to which we are responding and placed it here: www.srdce-dharmy.cz/pozor-na-sekty/ This is the original version, dated 11 April 2021, at 01:48:53, verified by the Way Back Machine Internet Archive here: https://web.archive.org/web/20210411021121/https://www.buddhaweb.cz/pozor-na-sekty/

At the outset, we note that we can only surmise whether Vít Kuntoš, who published the article, is the author, but that we can equally surmise that there may be more authors who "put their heads together" to produce this text. We believe that it is at least impolite for the author or authors not to sign such a text. For this reason, when we mention "author of the article" in the text below, we are referring to all those who may have contributed to the creation of the article. For clarity, we also note that the italicized text indicates direct quotations from the article on cults to which we are responding.

The author of the article mentions that Buddhism encompasses different schools that emphasize different approaches, and that we also find different Buddhist organizations that emphasize different aspects of Buddhist methods and teachings. He further states that their centres have one thing in common - they lead us towards enlightenment in a proven and workable way. However, the author himself is not specific about what that "proven and functional path" is. With this in mind, we believe that the author is thus in favor of different approaches and different organizations emphasizing different aspects of Buddhist methods and teachings on the one hand, but on the other hand, he is opposed to another, different organization that he himself does not endorse emphasizing different aspects of methods and teachings. In view of the above, we believe that although the author presents himself as respectful of different schools and approaches, at the same time he is in fact displaying a manner of religious intolerance which we consider to be a manifestation of dominance, i.e., instinct, i.e., spiritual immaturity.

We believe that the author has elevated himself to a kind of privileged position in which he grants himself the right to decide which approaches are relevant and which are not. The author then expresses his disappointment that unfortunately, even in our country, there are centres that are far from authentic Buddhism. We believe that the author considers authentic Buddhism to be only and exclusively what he has decided from his position (to which he has placed himself above other beings, without regard for the rights and freedoms of others). We believe that such a decision is not authentic. The author goes on to say that in the case of Buddhist organizations which he does not, in our opinion, endorse as authentic, they are dangerous sects which should be avoided.

In view of the above, we believe that the author, who in his article has decided to fight against the principle of sectarianism, defines and expresses himself in a sectarian way. We believe that this is the author's confession of his own tendency towards his own internal conflict. We believe that it is a demonstration of his own inner spiritual obstacle that he is limiting himself to, and this is because any being who is subject to this enormous psychological burden cannot be naturally happy, and therefore cannot really enjoy the existence of schools that emphasize different spiritual approaches, the existence of different Buddhist organizations that emphasize different aspects of Buddhist methods and teachings that can, according to the "live and let live" principle (i.e. In the same way, the Buddha's teachings, which are based on the principle of "living Buddha's life", can lead us in different ways to one common goal, i.e. to mutual interpersonal respect, belonging and tolerance, which concentrates especially on what unites us, instead of focusing on the habit of looking for what divides us in others. Therefore, we believe that these are the author's subjective spiritual obstacles that manifest themselves in his subjective dissatisfaction, which, we believe, is in no way related to the danger of a "sect." We believe that if a being is subject to the idea of a doctrine "worthy of being followed" and "a doctrine not worthy of being followed," it limits the free will of each being, sterilizes his curiosity, and does not allow him to explore his own subjective experience. We believe that it is precisely these spiritual obstacles of the author that give rise to manipulation, which we see as the real danger.

The author goes on to state that there are several classic warning signs that suggest that a given center is not well. In light of the above, we again believe that the author is facing his own internal conflict. We believe that from the place of this suffering, in which the author may perceive himself as "not right enough", there is a perfectly natural tendency to project ideas about himself onto other beings, or any other spiritual traditions that the author chooses not to acknowledge. It is quite natural that such a person who considers himself "not okay enough" cannot even find in something external what he has not yet found in himself - that is, what is "okay." Consequently, we believe that the author does not take responsibility for his decisions and that he is not even realistically aware of his decisions.

Fortunately for us and for the author, there is a workable answer to this suffering that more and more beings are enjoying, a solution that Lumír Láska - Samyaksam Buddha Maitreya has summarized in the understandable language of today's world in his main reference, the book MAITREYA BUDDHA SUTRA, OR THE HOLIDAY... THE MOTHER OF THE INHERITANCE OF IMMORTALITY (https://www.srdce-dharmy.cz/maitreya-buddha-sutra). Lumir Love himself often states in this vein, "Responsibility is as Light as Weight." and by this he means that we still have two choices, i.e., either to survive in the role of victim, i.e., in the mental limitation that if I am not "good enough" then others cannot be "good enough" either, or we can discover that we are perfect just as we already are and through this see all other sentient beings as perfect as well. We note that we see the author as perfect as he is, and trust that he too will soon meet his own perfection and end his own suffering, which we believe he projects onto the beings of others. This we wish with all our hearts for the author of the article to which we are responding.

The author of the article goes on to point out that often a charismatic leader takes the lead, holding an unquestioned position and being the sole authority. As for Lumira Love, to give an idea of who he really is, we note that he answers the question of the level of the peak of spiritual realization by describing this image: 'The master dies in the arms of his disciple. They look into each other's eyes. As a consolation, the disciple is now imparting to his Master a profound teaching in the form of the Dharma (Teachings of the Buddha) which the Master has never heard before. Because of this, the Master just experiences immeasurable bliss, the Master is grateful to the disciple, the Master is moved and cries out of gratitude. He weeps because the Master is the Wisher, he weeps because the Master is Happy that the disciple has surpassed his Master in a spiritual sense. The Master is Happy because the disciple having surpassed the Master is now also benefiting the Master, which is the Master's reward for having given selflessly to the disciple in his previous births. The disciple is already a Highly Developed Being, therefore, with his Divine Eye of the Thus-Being, he sees what the Master in his subjectivity is currently experiencing and experiencing, and through this Compassionate Co-existence the disciple Understands and thus Gains his next non-transferable Experience, which would not be there if the Master had not been lying in his arms on this occasion. The disciple, however, being a Highly Developed Being, will not let the Master go without giving him feedback in the sense of Mutual Respect: 'Master, without this there is no this. ' In the sense that without the Master, through his Selflessness, leading his disciple to where the Master has led him, it would not now be possible for the disciple to impart the deeper Dharma (the lesson of the end of suffering) to the Master. In this ABSOLUTE HAPPY CONNECTION, both the Master and the disciple, who is now a Master, enjoy the ACCOMPLISHED EQUALITY."

In this respect, Lumir Love, as indeed is the case with all realized beings, is indeed an absolutely naturally charismatic leader and a worthy example of unquestionable authority worthy of emulation. Lumír Láska himself then often lists and mentions all kinds of other masters from all kinds of traditions - not only Buddhist - who have ever inspired him, of which there are countless, and who transcend the limitations of one tradition or one religion. Lumír Láska further states that the Lord Jesus Christ did not found Christianity, the Noble Buddha Shakyamuni called GAUTAMA did not found Buddhism, etc. Yet, he acknowledges all forms of traditions that are treasure troves of any instructive texts, sutras and gospels that on all possible levels help any being to alleviate his subjective suffering. At the same time, Lumír Láska points out that when edifying texts, sutras and gospels are used as weapons, it is not because they are weapons, but because everyone who is subject to his own inner conflict perceives them as such and treats them accordingly, to his own detriment. Lumir Love acknowledges all beings and spiritual traditions regardless of whether they acknowledge his. Lumir Love teaches a view of the suffering of all beings, whether or not they are part of organizations that confine themselves to rigid and dogmatic action. In this regard he often quotes the Lord Jesus Christ, "Listen to the scribes, for what they say is true - but do not be like them, for they do not live by what they say themselves." He also often states, "Don't believe me just because I say so; first see for yourself if what I say helps you to relieve your own subjective suffering, and only then tell me if I have been honest with you." It is clear from the above that Lumír Love does not seek any false deification, that he does not consider himself to be the "sole authority". He mentions many times that if it were not for other spiritual sects and traditions, there would be no Knowledge today - but at the same time he also points out that this does not mean that the representatives of these traditions and sects are themselves truly free from their own suffering.

The article goes on to say that the leader is not backed by a leading figure in Buddhism like His Holiness the Karmapa or the Dalai Lama. In view of the above and the impression we have of the author of this article, we believe that the author, to his own detriment, is not really interested in spiritual realization as such, but rather in enforcing a political-hierarchical structure. And if the author is concerned with the assertion of political-hierarchical structures, he is not concerned with the assertion of spiritual authority according to the degree and level of insight realized into the nature of reality, but with the assertion of instinct, which is, as we have already discussed, spiritual immaturity.

We further state that at the moment when the Noble Buddha Shakyamuni called GAUTAMA realized his enlightenment, he called himself enlightened without any leader of any tradition behind him. We respect that the author may not have been informed of this fact or that it is beyond his imagination, but we do not think that on the basis of this misunderstanding it is appropriate for the author of this article - who is subject to what we believe are some of his own distorted ideas about who the Buddha is - to make a monopoly of Buddhism. We think it is perfectly natural that Lumír Láska does not fit into such a vision of a spiritual monopoly, which is why the author of the article sees him as a liar and a fraud. We also believe that the author lacks self-reflection in the sense that anyone could perceive him as a liar and a fraud if he did not fit into his subjective image of the world. We further state that we do not portray or perceive the author of the article as a liar and a fraud, in fact we provide him with an understanding of the level of suffering to which we believe he is subject.

We further add to this and remind you that the Heart of Dharma Sangha does not and will never monopolize Buddhism or any other religion for the reason that we consider such actions to be limiting and distressing, therefore it is not possible for us to inflict such pain on ourselves. Then we further state that we, the Sangha Heart of the Dharma, do not engage in the enforcement of political-hierarchical structures, instead we focus on beings who are honest and sincere, to these we expound the teachings of the Buddha in a clear, direct and understandable manner so that each of the beings can realize their own enlightenment in this one lifetime. We concentrate on what unites us with other beings, instead of concentrating on what divides us, for one simple reason: we are so happy. With this as our main goal, we don't even have time to think about anything else that is not in line with this goal. While we respect the possible perspectives on how some sects and traditions based on the creation of political-hierarchical structures may perceive us, in light of the reactions of gratitude from beings who have been helped by our work, as they claim no one else has helped them yet, we cannot accept one-sided attacks and statements from those who we believe are angry with us simply because people like us for our honest and sincere work. We encourage every spiritual tradition to work together. However, if a spiritual tradition does not wish to cooperate, that's fine, we are not asking anyone, we are merely suggesting that they not hit us unnecessarily.

As for any sources of open communication that may - if taken out of context - be misleading, we add that it is not the communication that casts the shadow, but the motivation of the one who judges the communication of two people without really being sincerely interested in both sides. This happens especially in cases where a dispute between two people suits the third person in order to parasitise on it, as is the custom in political-hierarchical communities. We state that such behavior is unacceptable in our presence, we do not even develop such behavior - not because we wish to appear noble, but simply because we are not comfortable in such relationships. We do, however, respect that some beings lend themselves to them for these reasons.

In our experience, we know that beings who tend to question themselves also tend to question other beings. And that is precisely the impression the author of the article gives us. We perceive that he quite naturally resents the fact that Lumír Láska and the people around him dare not question themselves. We believe that the author of the article and his preoccupation with Lumír Láska portrays the reality of the author's own insensitive treatment of himself, which - we believe - has nothing to do with Lumír Láska or the Heart of the Dharma Sangha.

Regarding the claim of the author of this article that the teachings of the sects are based only on the words of a leading

we state:

That this statement is not relevant in connection with Lumír Láska. Our own experience is that Lumir Love is primarily concerned that the being with whom he shares the Dharma (Buddha Teachings) should understand the Dharma, especially in his own interest. Thus, he is not concerned with interpreting some teaching of his own, regardless of whether or not that teaching benefits the being. He is concerned with the being as such, and whether he has truly understood the suffering he is going through.

In view of the above, we also so state that the teachings of the Buddha, which Lumír Láska has summarized in a manner peculiar to himself in his main reference, the book MAITREYA BUDDHA Sūtra, or FREEDOM... MOTHER OF THE INHERITANCE OF IMMORTALITY, is not the only interpretation of the teachings of the Buddhas, and Lumír Láska does not even claim that it is, but in our opinion it is an interpretation which is in complete harmony with the teachings of all the Buddhas, and which, moreover, is the most comprehensible to the world today.

Based on our experience of the practice of wishing happiness of enlightenment to all other beings, we know that Lumír Láska wrote his main message from the place of his own experience of enlightenment, and therefore naturally from the place of his immeasurable compassionate concern for all other sentient beings. All this only so that, according to his best motivations, these beings can, like him, realize their own enlightenment in this one lifetime and thus be independently happy. Our own realizations of enlightenment are also proof of this. Beings who encounter Lumiere Love see in his eyes a reflection of their own truth, and therefore naturally, unless a being approaches the master with love, trust and an open heart, in the sense of surrender, he teeters on the edge of doubt and projects this inner conflict into every outer thought construction that fosters a sense of separateness and disconnection. Therefore, we wish every being to love itself enough to incite loving-kindness and not to abandon even one being in its heart.

Equally unquestionable is the fact that we know of no one who has a deeper insight into the nature of reality. Particularly when it comes to the impermanence of all sense-perceptible phenomena, including the senses themselves, we have not met anyone in our lives who has summarized this central Buddhist doctrine in a simple mathematical equation - the "Matrix of the Universal Law of Impermanence" - in a way that is truly understandable to everyone.

Lumír Láska then not only often quotes various representatives of other spiritual traditions, but at the same time he also analyzes what is said in such a way that it is understandable even to a person for whom it may not have been understandable before. On his person, we further state that he does not make a monopoly on truth - on the contrary, he holds the position of Buddha Guru Padmasambhava, who is one of the Patrons of the Heart of Dharma Sangha: "Do not commit yourselves to any teaching, constantly study, develop and evolve." To this, Lumir Love further adds that in this way all teachings will eventually merge into one. In view of the above, we believe that it makes no sense what the author of this article implies about him.

Therefore, we believe that the author, for some private reasons of his own, is trying to give a distorted and misleading picture of Lumír Láska in order to discourage other beings. Therefore, we believe that the author of the article is anticipating his own inclinations in the person of Lumír Láska, which, however, are not really related to Lumír Láska or the Heart of Dharma Sangha. We note that the real seekers of truth will not be discouraged by slander and will first gain their own experience.

We find a great contradiction when the author of this article states that it is typical in sects that... it is not recommended or completely forbidden to study with another teacher, while Lumir Love quite openly recommends working with any masters from any traditions that make sense to the seeker. We believe that Lumír Láska would also recommend the author of this article as a teacher, for example, if one saw fit. Lumír Láska himself has attended and recommended various books, masters and spiritual practices and continues to do so - quite freely. This is a clear proof to us that he is interested in the development of each individual rather than that any individual should be his disciple.

Lumír Láska teaches his pupils to become masters themselves and encourages them to share their experience with others - again, this is not in line with what the author of this article suggests about him, i.e. that Lumír Láska recommends only himself or that he perhaps forbids other teachers, etc. If this were the case, it would be impossible for us to respect him as we do, it would not be dignified in our eyes. The awakened Lumiere Love sees the suffering of the whole world, which is a call to work - and especially to cooperate - for all of us. He does not limit himself to the fear of perhaps losing some disciples, a fear to which - we suspect - someone represented by the author of this article is subject. We also believe that the deeper the fears beings suffer from, the more aggressive they become and the more undignified their expressions become.

In view of the above, we believe that (although the author of this article does not at first publicly admit it), he repeatedly expresses himself in a sectarian manner, because, as it appears to us, the author believes that it is perhaps he who does not recommend, or prohibits altogether, the study of teachers other than those of whom he approves. We therefore believe that this is a gross manipulation on the part of the author of the article.

It is indeed unfortunate when the author of the article comments on the fact that the sect also usually tells us who it is advisable to meet and how to behave, and yet - in view of what has already been said - it seems that it is the author himself who says in the article who it is advisable to meet and what he thinks is advisable to avoid, which we perceive as his own tendency towards domination, i.e., instinct, which we consider to be spiritual immaturity.

The author of this article then goes on to say, in relation to Lumir Love and the Heart of the Dharma Sangha, that compared to the outside world and other Buddhists, the followers of such a centre put themselves in opposition, often considering themselves superior and chosen. Members are kept in the sect through covert manipulative techniques that involve working with fear or self-blame. Often financial exploitation comes into play in the form of contributions to charity, center building, teachers, etc. In view of the above, we believe that it is the author of the article who has projected his entire surrounding world into the person of Lumír Lásky, against which he is in opposition, and defines himself. We believe that this may be related to one of the situations when Lumír Láska or one of the members of the Heart of Dharma Sangha was approached by the author of this article in a private discussion and received a reply that he did not like, Whereupon, we believe, carried by his tendency to instinct, he came to the conclusion that Lumír Láska or the Heart of DHARMY Sangha put themselves in opposition to the outside world and considered themselves the chosen ones, which in fact has nothing to do with us but with his view of the world.

We do not ask anyone to address us, to question us about anything. However, when someone does address us, we answer them not as they would wish or expect, but simply as it is, which can be challenging for those beings who have been taught not to be honest with each other. We do not pursue any private interests, therefore we cannot be responsible for beings who are pursuing us and who, because they are pursuing us, are not satisfied with our reactions, which is a situation of dissatisfaction for anyone who is oriented toward private interests and goals. We have nothing against Buddhists or representatives of any other traditions, and our friendliness, openness, communication and cooperation with all kinds of beings of good will are proof of that.

For example, our cooperation with the Allatra movement, the Hydra Association, E-Koruna, Svobodny Vysielac, or the Slovak Free Broadcasting Service, does not say what the author of the article is trying to manipulatively put across to the reader.

For example, here are references to conversations between beings who are from different, seemingly ideologically distant communities, but who nevertheless manage to speak the same language in mutual respect, wishing happiness to all beings:

Regarding the whole introductory part of the article about cults, we note that since in the next part of the text the author of the article refers to the Sangha HEART of DHARMA as a cult and thus indirectly claims that such practices as covert manipulative techniques that involve working with fear or self-blame are the norm in our country, without verifying these facts with us personally, we believe that it is the author of the article who uses manipulative techniques. We further note that the culmination of such techniques is then the absolutely conscious and purposeful abuse of established position and influence, in order to achieve purely personal goals, without pursuing the interest and happiness of all beings. We consider such motivations to be morally base actions lacking a shred of dignity.

The author of this article has therefore failed to convince us, the self-righteous representatives of the Heart of Dharma Sangha, who always act freely and voluntarily, of the possibility of our salvation and salvation on his part. We believe that the author is probably himself a victim of similar practices which he anticipates and demonstrates in his article. We think it is natural, therefore, that what the author of the article anticipates in himself, he subsequently sees also in the beings of others, whether we are in his crosshairs or some other community whose aim is to work for the uplifting of the spirit of the individuals associated in it, but which does not carry out its activities in the way he imagines would be appropriate.

Further, we draw the author of this article's attention to what is probably a painful realization and fact for him: that it is entirely our own business (which is none of the business of the author of this article) whom we support and what means we choose to do so.

To the author of the article we lovingly and respectfully recommend that he develop his selflessness to such an extent that he will no longer have time to cause himself to degrade into states in which he will employ himself in the role of a supervisor who checks on others whether they are selfish or not, according to his own ideas.

As regards then the concrete work with fear or self-blame, with love, reverence and respect for what appears, according to what has already been stated above, to be the suffering of the author of this article, we refer him to the main reference of Lumir Love, i.e. to the book MAITREYA BUDDHA SUTRA, or FREEDOM... THE MOTHER OF THE CHILDREN OF IMMORTALITY (https://www.srdce-dharmy.cz/maitreya-buddha-sutra), especially the chapter: THE MANTRA OF RICE OF HARM, which, in our experience, seems to be the real answer to suffering of this type.

As to the designation of a sect operating in the Czech Republic, we state that we believe that, in general terms, any association or grouping of beings who come together for any purpose can be described as a "sect". To give an idea, we note that all splinter or new religious groups are also traditionally referred to as a sect. Instead of the word "sect" in this context, it is also common to use the synonym "group", which the author of this article himself uses in connection with the Heart of the Dharma Sangha, or "community", which is actually a translation of the word "Sangha" and thus quite telling of us. With this in mind, however, we believe that the author of this article is using the term "sect" in connection with the Heart Heart of Dharma Sangha explicitly in a negative sense with the intention of harming us, which we see as part of negative manipulation techniques.

Regarding the statement of the author of this article Jiří Skála alias Lumír Láska is a self-proclaimed Buddha, we would like to state that the author of the article is not wrong. Of course, Lumír Láska, like every other Buddha who realized Buddhahood and called himself a Buddha, became a self-proclaimed Buddha. Every Buddha realizes Buddhahood on his own, that is why he is a self-called Buddha. We are not aware of any case of Buddhahood that is not self-proclaimed, naturally then it could not be Buddhahood. We believe, however, that the author of this article is trying again to put a purposeful negative connotation on his statement with the word "self-proclaimed".

Regarding the statement made by the author of this article that he adopted the name Lumír Láska the moment he supposedly attained enlightenment in 2012, we note that the author, without verifying the information, is stating something that is not true, which in itself speaks to the seriousness of the author himself and the relevance of all his other fabricated and misleading claims. Furthermore, we believe that the author is perhaps trying to create a fantastic sensation, in the sense of "let's have a look at him". To the above, we note that he who, in his subjectivity, causes himself suffering by concentrating on the dog and the stick with which he might beat it, is causing himself suffering which is in fact in no way related to the dog or the stick itself.

The situation surrounding Lumir Love and his previous name, Jiri Skála, is much simpler than the author of the article might wish. Jiri Skála realized enlightenment, i.e. Buddhahood, on August 7, 2012, a date that the whole world will remember. He started thinking about changing his name in 2014 and only requested the change on July 27, 2015. On 28 July 2015, the Karlovy Vary City Council (Department of Internal Affairs) issued him a decision to allow him to use the name and surname Lumír Láska, which came into force on 30 July 2015. Therefore, if the author of this article claims that "He adopted the name Lumír Láska at the moment when he allegedly achieved enlightenment in 2012", not only has he not verified the facts, but at the same time he is also spreading this unsubstantiated information as the truth, which in itself is deceiving people who might have confidence in the author of the article for reasons unknown to us.

In addition to the above, we note that Lumír Láska has made no secret of the change of his name and surname, so it is not appropriate to make - as we believe - an attempt at some fantastic discovery. Lumír Láska is friendly and open to such beings who are interested in their own spiritual development, openly sharing in their own interest the specific context that originally led Jiří Skála to this decision, and always pointing out that each karmic connection deserves special care, not blind repetition or copying of acts that would lead to immature expressions of ostentation.

We further state that Lumír Láska has no objection to using his birth name, Jiří Skála, and many of his friends who know him from before he changed his name continue to address him as such (or by nicknames related to his original name).

When asked what led Lumír Láska to choose the name he did, Lumír Láska replies: "Love is a transliteration of my original surname, Rock - all my life I did not see it, but after some time, after I had Realized Buddhahood, when more karmic layers were falling off of me, I SAW it, and in seeing it, I SAW not only the PERFECTION, but at the same time the PRINCIPLE that I present here. I chose my present first name, Lumir, in view of the karmic burden associated with my previous first name, George, because it means to me I Love Peace and also Light, which again is related to the fact that I Love Peace. That is Worthy of me, and that which is Worthy of me is naturally Worthy of all other Sentient Beings. Therefore, it is not possible for me to harm any being by this decision. Further, then, I have approached the change of my name and surname just as a responsible parent approaches the naming of his own offspring, which also with regard to the Realization of Buddhahood I am in essence, since I am, like every other Buddha, the Buddha taking all responsibility for my karmic connection, i.e., the Buddha Self-existent."

In view of the above, it is only natural that such entities who have distorted perceptions or information and motivations other than those stated, may use such information as grandstanding to their own detriment as out of context to try to damage the reputation of Lumir Love in the eyes of the public, and thereby ultimately harm not only themselves but also other beings who, as a result of such, we believe, unworthy practices, may be prevented from receiving the teachings of the Buddha from Lumir Love and the Heart of Dharma Sangha, which is essential for every single being.

In view of the foregoing, we further state that we regard any action in which there is no apparent willingness to cooperate spiritually in mutual reverence as an obscuring action, which we regard as an attempt to realize the intention of preventing the direct interpretation of the Buddha's teachings, which we regard as a gross transgression with immeasurable karmic consequences. Such karmic vices, therefore, will always naturally be in direct conflict with the Presented Heart of Dharma Sangha and with the Heart of Dharma Sangha as such.

Regarding the statement of the author of this article claiming to have attained enlightenment while claiming to be Buddha Maitreya, we state that the author of this article does not specifically comment on why he believes that Lumir Love has not attained Buddha enlightenment.

We believe that any statement made by people who have not even bothered to get to know Lumir Love personally in order to verify his spiritual level is making a statement about their own immaturity. In a spiritual sense, such a person does not even care about his own spiritual realization, because if he did care about it, he simply could not afford not to verify Lumír Lázně's spiritual level personally.

Then we, the author of the article, ask whether he himself is an Awakened One, i.e. a Buddha, in order to determine the awakenedness or non-awakenedness of another being?

To the above we further state that we believe that the manifestations of such beings, who are subject to their own tendencies towards undignified and aggressive manifestations, are a major spiritual obstacle for which they are actually incapable of discussion, let alone discussion of a spiritual dimension.

As to the statement of the author of the article, Buddha Maitreya is, according to traditional teachings, to be the successor of Buddha Shakyamuni, who will come only at a time when the teachings of Buddha will be forgotten by mankind

We state:

That every traditional teaching (whether Buddhist or any other) was not a traditional teaching until the moment when men made it a traditional teaching. Thus, to invoke any doctrine as something "demonstrably relevant" at some point in its development is misleading. Then we further state that Lumir Love is the successor of Buddha Shakyamuni called GAUTAMA. Not only in view of the planetary situation and the way in which the so-called representatives of the Teachings of the Buddha are treating us, we state that this is the time when the Teachings of the Buddha are being forgotten by humanity. Fortunately for us, for the author of this article and for all other beings who are unfolding in this karmic context, there is indeed a workable answer to this apparent suffering and therefore a solution, which Lumir Love - Samyaksam Buddha Maitreya has summarized in his main message: MAITREYA BUDDHA SATURDAY or HAPPINESS... THE MOTHER OF THE INHERITANCE OF IMMORTALITY (https://www.srdce-dharmy.cz/maitreya-buddha-sutra).

Regarding the statement of the author of this article, Lumir is very active on social media, overusing words written with Caps Lock in his words.

We state:

That we believe that this is our own subjective statement, behind which lies the wish of the author of this article that Lumír Láska does not express himself at all. We believe that the author is overusing manipulative techniques for this purpose for his own private reasons, which we see as an issue of religious intolerance, which is certainly not in line with beings who are expressing positive feedback towards Lumir Love, full of gratitude for his emanation here, and which is directly related to the mediation of the direct interpretation of the Teachings of the Buddha in a non-institutionalized way.

Regarding the statement of the author of the article He has also published a book called Maitreya Buddha Sutra, which is being very actively promoted by Lumira's followers on the internet, we state that the book the author of this article is referring to is titled MAITREYA BUDDHA SUTRA OR THE FREEDOM... THE MOTHER OF THE IMMORTALITY CHILDREN, and both Lumir Love and Sangha HEART OF DARKNESS are reaping warm expressions of positive feedback, full of gratitude for the work they are doing here on behalf of all other sentient beings. In light of that positive feedback, it seems only natural to us to actively continue sharing this gem for the sake of all other beings.

To the statement of the author of this article They write reviews about it and actively approach dealers. Even Buddhaweb has been contacted about the sale of the book in the e-shop. we state that we believe this is an act of jealousy on the part of the author of this article. We believe that it is perfectly natural to write a review about something that we see deep meaning in because it has fundamentally transformed our lives in a positive way, and likewise we believe that it is perfectly natural to actively share it with other beings whom we quite naturally wish the same for that very reason out of love.

We would also like to add to the above that this book has been such a success that it has been reviewed not only by formal members of the Heart of the Dharma Sangha, but also, for example, by the eminent Czech philosopher Prof. PhDr. Anna Hogenová, CSc. and also many other satisfied people who perceive this gem as a contribution to their lives. Reviews can be found here https://www.srdce-dharmy.cz/maitreya-buddha-sútra, or on Lumír Lásky's FB profile: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100010469569311 or on his author FB profile: https://www.facebook.com/lumirlaska

Regarding the claim by the author of the article I Buddhaweb was contacted regarding the book's sales in the e-shop we state that this is again a misleading claim. It was not "Buddhaweb" that was contacted, but specifically Mr. Vit Kuntoš, who seems to be its operator. He was not chosen to be approached by chance, Vit Kuntosh and Lumír Láska were until recently formal friends on Facebook, moreover one of the members of the Heart of the Dharma Sangha has in the past financially supported the publication of Mr Vit Kuntosh's book (Astrology for Self-Learners) and has seen him in person.

We believe that it is dishonest and dishonorable for someone who has had our member contribute financially to his book in the past to then present an article on his website where he makes such a statement about us. In view of the above, we believe that if a member of the Heart of the Heart of the Dharma Sangha contributed to Mr. Vitus Kuntos' book in the past, it was okay, but if he supports someone else, it is no longer okay. Mr. Vit Kuntos responded to our inquiry as to whether he would include the book in his e-shop offer by saying that he "must consult about including the book in his e-shop", the attitude from which he responded to our offer of cooperation showed a clear lack of trust and interest, and we therefore did not encourage further joint communication.

Further, then, it is not true that Sangha HEART DHARMY "actively reaches out to sellers". We believe that this is again an act of jealousy on the part of the author of this article. The situation is such that even before the launch of MAITREYA BUDDHA SUSTRA or THE HAPPENING... MOTHER OF THE INMORTALITY GIFTS, the author of the sutra had entered into an agreement with the distributor Kosmas, which has an extensive network of dealers. The exception are two e-shops that offer the sutra and Lumír Lásky's poetry collection PURE HEART aside from the Kosmas distribution network (www.homeharmony.cz or www.kamennyvesmir.cz). We wanted to make a similar offer to Mr. Vít Kuntoš. With an active membership base that shares the sutra with whomever they see fit, and with the Kosmas distributor, we certainly have no need to "actively approach vendors". They say that success is unforgivable and we believe that this is some private grievance of Mr. Vitus Kuntos, or the author(s) of this article if he is not Vitus Kuntos.

To the statement of the author of this article: It can be noticed on social media that Lumír and his followers react irritably to "inappropriate" questions and attack arrogantly anyone who questions Lumír's alleged awakening.

We state:

That it has been our experience that occasionally someone will seek us out on their own, approach us and ask us a question on sight, but they have already come forward as one who has "come to check us out". If he doesn't like our answer, he becomes irritable. When he is told that he is being irritated, he starts to argue that we are the ones who are being irritated and arrogant. We further state that this is what we consider to be arrogant behaviour. We then consider it a particularly immoral act when someone purposely misrepresents this, because both Lumir Love and the Heart of the Dharma Sangha have had their own experiences in which we have been deleted, blocked, or thrown out of Facebook groups as inconvenient members, etc., by representatives of various traditions the moment we ask inappropriate questions that might indicate dishonest motivations. And this, we believe, is censorship that is in direct contradiction to the Buddha's teachings. We are not in the habit of running away from debates, and the author of the article seems to know this well. Therefore, we believe that this is an act of petty vindictiveness, for which we take a sympathetic position, realizing that if such beings were not subject to ignorance, they would not even stoop to such activities.

In addition to the above, we further state that Lumír Láska certainly does not wish to convince anyone of his Awakening, nor does Lumír Láska insist on having any disciples and followers. If he insisted on it, it would naturally be his own spiritual obstacle, his own suffering. Lumír Láska speaks of his awakening "only" for the sake of all other sentient beings, so that these beings may have the opportunity and, above all, the chance to end the cycle of birth and death of Samsara for themselves.

Furthermore, as we have already indicated, for such a being who is not an awakened being, questioning the awakened state of other beings is a perfectly natural action, and therefore does not cause us any particular upset. We confess, however, in our fragility and vulnerability, that we are not always in the mood to respond to every aggression purposely sent in our direction with a smile, and we are not at all ashamed of it. We know that we have chosen our role and we do our best to fill it with dignity, but if someone does feel that it is not "kind enough", we suggest that they be the one to set the example and offer their compassion in the form of loving kindness instead of aggression.

We then add that none of the members of the Heart of Dharma Sangha can even dream of controlling, testing, or tempting members of other religious traditions or sects, let alone engaging in jealous activities pursuing struggles with the traditions of others. In response, members of the Heart of the Dharma Sangha respect themselves and prefer to devote their time to activities that focus on conveying a direct interpretation of the Buddha's teachings.

We further note that our response to the injustices sent towards us is not retaliation; we did not originally intend to respond at all to such - what appears to us to be - low conduct, but the people who hold us in high esteem have themselves asked us to comment on this in the interest of preserving the good name of the Heart of Dharma Sangha (and thus in the interest of all sentient beings). The reason they gave was that it would be a great pity if even a single being were to come to harm because of dishonest slander and thus be prevented from transmitting the teachings of the Buddha. Naturally, we could not refuse this, for all of us of the Heart of Dharma Sangha wish every single being, without distinction, to register and recognize the primordial Buddhahood within himself, so that he may receive the ultimate answer to his suffering and thus naturally also to the suffering of all other beings in his karmic context.

As to the statement made by the author of this article, Lumir's manifestations certainly do not match the compassionate and loving behavior we see in other truly realized teachers.

We state:

As we have already outlined, we now present again, for the sake of illustration, our common experience with some people who seek us out of their own accord, ask a question, and then receive an answer that they often do not like. If they address Lumír Lása in this way, but are angry with him for being honest and direct and not answering as they themselves imagine a realized master should answer and behave, we conclude that such a being is merely facing his own idea (i.e., preconceived idea) of a realized master who has nothing to do with Lumír Lása. In fact, such expressions from a place of similar, distress-laden subjective dispositions towards Lumír Láská cannot be considered objective statements of who he really is. If Lumír Láska were not honest and sincere in his speech, then he would not even be compassionate in our eyes. But this is a dimension of compassion that beings burdened with the desire to be liked and nice to can hardly imagine. And if, after all, one thinks Lumír Láska did not behave compassionately and lovingly, then one wonders why the author of the article (or anyone else who has a problem with how Lumír Láska expresses himself) does not show by his own example what such compassionate and loving behavior looks like?

To further add to the comparison with other realized masters, assuming you put any human being in front of beings who are not truly realized, they can't really judge whether they are dealing with a realized master or not. Only one experience can resolve this seemingly impasse, and that is direct spiritual confrontation in the sense of exposing Lumir Love to the direct gaze of these truly realized masters, and vice versa. And, if necessary, to expose them likewise to subsequent spiritual disputations which would verify the depth of insight attained by this or that being. However, nothing of the sort has happened.

Regarding the statement of the author of this article: The Dharma Heart Group has no connection with traditional Buddhist schools

we state:

That mankind is now witnessing and inevitably part of a challenging karmic connection for some beings, in which Lumir Love-Buddha Maitreya has realized the state of perfect realization of the Samyaksama Buddha with the contribution of his own efforts alone, and also in a transcendental manner with the blessings and support of the perfect Buddhas, especially the Exalted Buddha GAUTAMA, i.e. without the presence or assistance of a physical master belonging to any tradition.

With this in mind, it is only natural that the Heart of Dharma Sangha has no connection with traditional Buddhist schools. Thus, humanity is now witnessing and is also inevitably part of a situation in which Lumir Love - Buddha Maitreya, together with the Sangha of the Heart of Dharma, is establishing a tradition of direct interpretation of the teachings of the Buddha of the non-institutionalized form.

To the above, we further note that although the Heart of Dharma Sangha does not come from the traditional Buddhist school, it shares and collaborates with any spiritual grouping that can be said to pursue the merging of people of goodwill. In mutual respect, we share and cooperate with, for example, the venerable monks of the Buddhist monasteries, the so-called jungle temples, in Sri Lanka, where they practice the Mahayana and Theravada branches of Buddhism. Not only are we not forbidden to learn from other teachers, in fact it is just the opposite, e.g. one member of the close circle of the Heart of the Dharma Sangha has established this wonderful and friendly collaboration in Sri Lanka and it is she herself who is being instructed by these monks in the Dharma, i.e. the teachings of the Buddha, and in meditation techniques. Together with these monks, she spreads the Dharma in the form of pure Buddhist foundation to the common people and in return is inspired by the common people who live a simple life in the Buddhist culture in Sri Lanka. As a result of our collaboration, amongst many other things, we have worked on the translation of MAITREYA BUDDHA SUTRA or FREEDOM... MOTHER OF THE INHERITANCE OF IMMORTALITY into Sinhala. We also collaborate and share with native Sri Lankan monks who live in the USA and respect and support the Heart of Dharma Sangha, as is the case with friendly monks in Sri Lanka.

The author of the article should know that Lumir Love does not act as the only respected teacher as he tries to portray him in the article. The Heart of Dharma Sangha has several awakened masters who, like Lumír Láska, are independently dedicated to facilitating the direct interpretation of the Buddha's Teachings to anyone who is interested. There is no established membership of the Sangha as such now, it is more of a friendly grouping of a formal nature than an organized religion. Nor is there any spiritual authority in the sense of a hierarchical structure, and therefore there can be no one who forbids studying with teachers from other traditions and schools - on the contrary, we welcome this, share experiences in mutual respect and improve each other's spiritual growth. In the words of one of our Patron Buddhas, Guru Padmasambhava: "Never limit yourself to one particular teaching and keep developing."

Then we further state that the author of this article puts his own concept of Buddhism above others. We believe that his private conception contains manifestations of religious intolerance, whereas the Dalai Lama, on whom he relies as a spiritual authority, publicly preaches religious tolerance. We offer questions to ponder: why should "their conception of Buddhism" be better than "another conception of Buddhism"? Why are such people so bothered by diversity when the Noble Buddha Shakyamuni Himself, called GAUTAMA, lists 84,000 ways of teaching?

The Heart of Dharma Sangha does not claim even one of them; in the infinity of manifested beings, it recognizes every single tradition that is the vehicle of any teaching that helps beings to end subjective suffering, which leads to the only ultimate goal, that is, liberation from the cycle of birth and death of Samsara. It is believed that unless beings develop such an attitude, if anyone deals with anything else as superfluous, he is not dealing with Dharma but with something else, whether he is a so-called layman or a member of a tradition.

Regarding the statement of the author of the article about the NEW KADAMPA sect: One can trace the testimony of many unfair practices that followers in this organization have encountered

We state:

That we believe that there is an attempt at gross manipulation on the part of the author of this article, since he makes his statements regarding the NEW KADAMPA sect in connection with the Sangha SRDCE DHARMY, thereby, we believe, suggesting to the reader that what the author believes the NEW KADAMPA sect does, the Sangha SRDCE DHARMY automatically does.

Further to the above, we note that many members have passed through the Sangha of the Heart of the Dharma who have tried to enforce and set up some form of hierarchical structure here. None of them have succeeded in doing so, and have therefore quite naturally drifted away to where they could realize their inclinations. Any such being who has interpreted this action as a personal failure on their part from a place of unprocessed injustice will surely provide twisted subjective testimony of "many unfair practices" which will then, in the hands of a person suffering from a desire to save someone, turn into "evidence" of Lumiro Laska, or of the SANZA HEART of Dharma, about which the whole world needs to be warned.

These beings have one thing in common: they cannot forgive us for being honest and truthful, and in this respect they cannot forget us, because they have probably not encountered anything like this in their lives so far. In fact, by their aggressive manifestations, they draw attention to who they are, as in the case of the Mystic Osho and his pupil Sheela, who took advantage of his confidence in her weakness. These people, without realizing it, are in fact confessing us by their attitude of resistance and supporting us by talking about us. Our answer, then, is a universal one: in our own interest, we advise anyone who hears anything about us to check with us first before accepting it as fact.

We state that anyone who reads with an open heart the main message of Lumir Love: MAITREYA BUDDHA SUTRA, OR THE HOLIDAY... THE MOTHER OF THE INMORTALITY CHILDREN, or the publication that preceded it: HEART OF DARKNESS, or A GUIDE TO SELF (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5R7wzNv_EA&t=153s), which is available in electronic and audio form for free (if you wish to receive a pdf, please contact us at srdcedharmy@outlook.com), or his poetry collection PURE HEART, one cannot but find that the collection of what Lumír Láska has written so far for the sake of other beings is more than a contribution.

CONCLUSIONS:

In view of the absolute reality in which we are all indiscriminately situated, we find that there are innumerable such formations of all kinds of karmic formations in the form of various groups of beings, coming together for all kinds of purposes (in view of the law of impermanence with temporarily limited efficacy and validity), which may be described as "sects operating in the Universe," and that more may appear at any time. In order to be aware of this, it is necessary to be alert, not to grow weary, and to constantly develop your discernment. In particular, beware of the motivations of the representatives of such karmic formations, which indicate that you should beware of the karmic formations of others. In such a case, be especially alert and cultivate the necessary habit of self-questioning: "Why do the representatives of a sect tell me that the representatives of another sect are bad? Why are the representatives of a sect telling me what they are telling me at all?" If you cultivate this habit and are consistent in it, you will be very surprised to find that these beings are actually telling you, "Beware of us! We are calling your attention to what we are like, and what we are like we naturally expect from the beings of others, and what we expect from the beings of others we also meet in them, and what we meet in them we naturally fear, and in this frame of mind we ourselves associate with these beings in such karmic contexts, and we call your attention to this from the place of our nature." The warning signals given may not be complete or may only be partially manifest. If you get to a spiritual center where you suspect something is not right, don't run anywhere, because there is really nowhere to run, nor is there anything to run from. With this in mind, in all the confusion of your escape, you might run into a center that has already alerted you to watch out for it. First of all, find a way to calm down. Instead of escaping from the place of calm, examine everything again critically through self-inquiry. Without developing the practice of self-questioning, do not trust your own feelings - for you could find that your feelings are influenced by various manipulative techniques, and to act on them under such influence is therefore misleading. If you consistently develop the practice of self-inquiry, you will also develop the unbiased vision of the Buddha, which is a vision that is clear, pure, and independent of feeling. If it is possible for us to develop this practice, you can certainly do it too.

We are not angry with the author of the article, we understood the attack by Buddhaweb as a call to give the author(s) our precious time with love, compassion and respect without taking anything from it; without demanding or expecting anything from you; without having any interest in holding anyone down through covert manipulative techniques that involve working with fear or self-blame. Our intent was the opposite of yours in approach, thus, from our side, we are sending a wish of happiness towards you in the sense that you will already allow yourselves to step out of the fearful vicious circle into the light of cooperation based on mutual respect. Although we have given you our time and our care, we do not financially benefit you in any way, we do not expect any form of contribution to charity, the building of a center, a teacher, etc. We have our own supporters, we wish you well and do not envy yours in any way. We also wish you the best in your spiritual growth, that of your teachers and that of your charges.

To all beings who do not wish such happiness to others independent of themselves, we say that unless you exceed yourselves in this respect, unless you simply, from the place of your own subjectivity, wish truly all good things to all - especially those things which you consider that you yourselves do not receive - and unless you abandon your tendency to politics and renounce these, you are acting in direct contradiction to the teaching of the Buddha. And in that case you yourself will never be truly happy. So act as you see fit. We wish you to find and discover with relief the miracle, the tenderness for yourselves - in the sense that you are not here to check "who has it right" but to discover that you are here to reflect on whether you have it right, not because we are now telling you to, but because if you are preoccupied with anything other than wishing happiness to all beings, you are simply suffering madly, and in this frame of mind, preoccupied with your pain, you cannot experience higher states of happiness. Therefore, for your own sake - not because we say so - renounce your aggressiveness and discard your template tendencies, which have never really served you any good, and instead of such focus exclusively on selfless work for the sake of all other sentient beings, for that is the only cure for the distressing impression that perhaps someone is better off than you.

If you give yourself over to this, you will liberate yourself, because you simply will not have time to fit into the position of some privileged esotericists who will magically work like sorcerers on anyone who displeases them in their own way. These inclinations will not bring you happiness. In other words, wish happiness on everybody and it will come to you... Yes, it is that simple, but unless you try it you will not get your own experience, and because you won't, you will think that somebody is just lecturing you and showing off without experiencing the state of happiness for yourself. And for those of you who have already matured to let go of your smallness, we invite you to cooperate in mutual respect... this is a high quality of experiencing the reality of mutual equality that is incomparable to the qualities of a rigid hierarchy (if they can be called qualities at all). Be sure to reach out to us, there is no clawing for the top on the backs of others.

To all beings of Goodwill, the Sangha HEART OF DARKNESS says:

Whole-planet awakening is in process - the understandable teachings of the Buddha (i.e., the Dharma) are now available to anyone who is genuinely interested. The Dharma is the concrete remedy for the cessation of all suffering - beings among themselves, with the concrete blessing of the Buddhas of all times, share the direct teachings of Buddha Maitreya, the successor of Buddha Shakyamuni called GAUTAMA, who came because the true meaning of the Buddha's teachings had been forgotten... These beings are awakening to Buddhahood regardless of what this or that representative of this or that tradition thinks about it. The only important thing is that it is simply happening and that even those who were angry at first because they did not understand will soon and surely understand, as we have already had our experience.

The feedback of gratitude from the beings who are thanked by the community of benevolent friends of the Heart Heart Dharma Sangha for the clear and unquestionable results of honest, sincere, selfless and dignified spiritual support speaks for itself. Many beings already understand what Lumir Love shares and mediates, the trace is already indelible, whether one likes it or not, it cannot be reversed.

May each being understand what the Buddha says and grant themselves grace in the sense of allowing themselves to step out of the cycle of birth and death of Samsara.

EVERY DAY IS MADE FOR MIRACLES.

With love and respect for all beings without distinction...

Sangha SRDCE DHARMY
